Research On The Selection Of International Aircraft Leasing Mode

With the rapid development of China’s economy, and the improvement of people’s living standard, people’s consumption has an explosive growth both in quantity and quality, now China’s civil air transport enterprise is facing a huge market demand. The introduction of aircraft style is very important as plane is the main carrier of aviation transportation. Generally, there are two ways to get the plane, one is purchase and the other is leasing. However, with the high capital intensive, high labor intensive and high risk intensive limiting factors, the airline company has an extremely large demand for capital, especially in the start-up period and the expansion period, and it will become a great obstacle to the development of Civil Aviation. Therefore more airlines prefer to choose leasing mode rather than purchase.Operating leasing and financial leasing are the two main mode in international aircraft leasing. According to statistical data, more than 60% planes get by leasing and the operating leasing proportion has keeping rising. Obviously, Airline companies have regard aircraft leasing as a basic means in the fleet update and expansion. With the expansion of international aircraft leasing market, the demand of different countries or regions varies, some new leasing mode demand emerges based on the basic model. Hence, in view of this phenomenon, to find out the influence factors of aircraft leasing mode selection, and analysis of these restricting factors, try to find out helpful ways in promoting the further development of aircraft leasing mode innovation, which is urgent and of great significance.Under this circumstances, this paper try to find the factors which influence aircraft leasing mode decision from the current status of our country’s civil aviation transportation.It come to the conclusion that the new mode should be based on the financial leasing and keep adaptive adjustment for different constraints. In the end, through analyzing the Tianjin East Bonded Port Area’s advantages, to give some suggestions about the further development of aircraft leasing mode innovation in China.
