As the result of the policy of Anti-corruption bid going deeper and the relevant bans being further standardized, the operation of domestic hotels especially the star hotels are encountering an unprecedented tough situation in recent 30 years. The previous important integrants of a hotel revenue- like the mooncake,the cubilose,the trepang,shark’s fin, the abalone,the luxury wine, and the deluxe wedding feastare vanishing. The higher class the product is, the less customers query, and meanwhile the price declines instead of rises, so the profit margin has been squeezed over and over and the profit ratio has badly descended.Although the development of the high class hotel is slackening, there are more and more luxury hotels being constructed in Henan province which is in dire need of first class hotels. As a consequence, problems like the cultivation and growth rate of the management personnel and the service personnel are far below that of the development of the hotel, so the hotels have a shortage of labor all the time. That leads to a high employee turnover rate and usually the employees can’t adopt to the fast promotions, which causes a consequence of a sharp dropping of working efficiency and a straight increasing of customer complaints.Under the double influences above, the profit is hitting new low and while the cost is increasing. So obviously the profit rate is making a reduction, even some employers and managers exclaiming that they can’t afford employees. While some employees complain that the salary is low, the working time is unconstant, the overtime work is too much and a bright future is not clear. At such a time, the conflict of employers and employees is more complex.Economy Hotels of international brands have already prepared well in labor productivity. Surely many of them have given up some luxury services. This thesis aims to do a research on the method of the employment of economy hotels, learning their strategy of employment. And with the existing research findings, the thesis will try to introduce the concept of high-efficiency employment into the first class hotels by doing some investigation in the first class hotels in Henan. And by the introduction, this thesis will try to solve the problem or partly cope with the situation that the cost of employment is too high due to the lack of labor and the needs of customers are not satisfied within the limited budget, thus providing some help for development of the provincial first class hotels.
