The increasing popularity of Smart TV nowadays has been assumed the key factor of pushing television to be more intelligent and more connected through Internet. And the huge potential market of Smart TV not only has triggered a number of new enterprises but also attracted many traditional enterprises, which drives the competition in this field economy getting hot up. Based on this potential market, Letv has managed to become a representative one in the mass of Chinese smart TV companies with outstanding market share after the introduction of Smart TV products. This paper will analyze strategies of Letv about business positioning and marketing expanding in hope of providing valuable conclusions.This paper has chosen Letv’s smart TV business to be the research object. And based on the pattern of analyzing background, raising questions and solving questions, the paper has taken a overall discussion of Chinese smart TV market and made a special analysis of Letv’s business model and SWOT model. From the operation perspective, the paper also conducted Letv’s SW strategies, OT strategies and resources integration to provide constructive suggestion in creative operation and marketing.
