With the advent of the era of mobile Internet,national and local governments vigorously develop Smart City.The strong demand for network business capability and information service capability from Smart City construction has brought new hope to telecommunications operators,who facing such adversities as "traditional market tends to be saturated" and "cross-border competition continues to intensify".To China Telecom Hangzhou branch,it has become a crucial step that how to grasp the opportunity,quickly change from the original traditional mode of communication operation to the information-based market expansion,extract the essence and remove the dregs,and formulate the development strategy and corresponding strategies and measures to adapt to the current smart city market.This thesis focuses on the development strategy of Hangzhou Telecom Smart City Business.Firstly,this thesis introduces the enterprise development strategy,strategic management theory and related analysis methods,and introduces the related concepts of domestic and international Smart City and the construction of Smart City both here and abroad.And analyses the development trend and differences of Smart City at home and abroad.Then it analyses the business development of domestic and foreign operators in Smart City,and points out the feasibility and extensibility of operators' participation in the content construction of Smart City.At the same time,combined with the current basic situation of Hangzhou Telecom,this thesis makes an in-depth analysis of the smart city business.This thesis mainly introduces the overall business development of China Telecom and the development of Smart City business,and provides relevant cases.At the same time,the problems and shortcomings exposed by China Telecom in smart city business are analyzed.By using PEST and SWOT analysis method,the external and internal environment of Smart City business by Hangzhou Telecom is analyzed.Choose the focus strategy and find out the development orientation,development focus and stage division of future Smart City business.And formulated the development strategy and implementation measures of Smart City business.This thesis combines theory with practice,through strategic analysis,strategy formulation and strategy implementation,analyses and studies the business development strategy based on Smart City by China Telecom Hangzhou Branch,combs the advantages and disadvantages of current business development,and puts forward a set of practical development strategy.
