Shale gas is seen as a kind of clean and efficient energy. America is successful on a large scale commercial shale gas development, due to the successful development of shale gas resources, America was selling oil and gas products to other countries for the first time after 1949, and relevant organization estimates that towards 2020, America will become the world’s largest producer of oil and gas. Due to the successful development of shale gas, it has got the attention of the countries all over the world. Shale gas industry in China started in 2004, the development of shale gas industry will lead to better security of our energy security, it can improve the energy structure of our country, accelerate the development of science and technology accumulation, promote economic sustainable development and so on. But it will also have the environmental problems, as the pollution of groundwater resources, destruction of wildlife, methane leakage, etc..In such a background, the ecological philosophy as the theoretical basis, the thought of shale gas development is the united thoughts of "entropy" coming with minimun ideas(quality mutual change), unity of regularity and purposes (the unity of opposites).
