| In recent years, with the development of Internet technology, t he transformation of citizens’ awareness and the enhancement of the government’s conception of response to public opinion, more and more Internet users and media begin to participate in the discussion of public opinion in various ways. The formation of network public opinion comes from various types of participation, the evolution of network public opinion is influenced by a number of factors, which formation and evolution mechanism is quite difficult to grasp. This paper comprehensive use three methods of the collation and analysis of literature, design questionnaire and data analysis, modeling and simulation in order to do empirical analysis to explore the formation and evolution mechanism of network public opinion and to reveal the affection also the importance of various factors in the evolution of network public opinion, so that we can provide some scientific basis for the workers to fully understand various phenomena of public opinion and supervise and guide it in a better way.First of all, this paper regards the network public opinion as the research object, regards the formation and evolution mechanism of network public opinion as the core issue, analysis the related factors which influence the formation and evolution mechanism of network public opinion on the basis of the existing research, and then find out the main factors through the factor analysis method. Secondly, based on the simulation method and public opinion interactive model of multi-agent modeling, combine the above main factors, this paper constructs the network public opinion evolution simulation model. The model describes the participation of the main properties and assumptions, establish the rule of interaction between netizens, media and government. Thirdly, we use the multi-agent simulation platform of Netlogo to do the simulation experiment on the previous model. During the experiment, we select a typical food safety incident as the initialization data for the empirical analysis, and analysis of the influence of various factors on the evolution of the network public opinion by adjusting the parameters of the number of opinion leaders, media credibility, the strength of media reports, the credibility of the government, the degree of information disclosure, the intensity of government guidance and the disposal efficiency. Finally, according to the comparison of the simulation results and the spread of the typical food safety incident, we divide the formation and evolution mechanism of network public opinion into four stages which are latent stage, outbreak stage, spread stage and the regression stage, and analyze the propagation trend of each one of them. Also, we propose coping strategies according to the different characteristics of each stage of the evolution, which can provide more sc ientific decision- making for regulators and workers of public opinion respond to network public opinion. |
