Research On The Evaluation System Of Energy Audit For Iron & Steel Enterprises

Energy audit is a process, based on the related standards, to inspect, verify and analyze the statue of energy consumption in enterprises. Servicing for energy audit, the evaluation system consists of substantive part, i.e. the evaluation index system, and procedural part. This paper is focused on the evaluation index system for energy audit.According to the characteristics of Iron & Steel Enterprises, the present national situation of the evaluation system for energy audit is surveyed in this paper. Based on the survey, it is concluded that the procedures of energy audit and evaluation are incomplete, and there is not any evaluation index system specified to energy audit of Iron & Steel enterprises. In the view of actual situation, audit and evaluation procedure, involving program structure and practice, is theoretically elaborated. The contribution of this work is to propose a scheme of optimizing the audit system, in which the approach of AHP is employed to calculate the weights, and the evaluation indicators implied in energy audit practice are sorted out. Furthermore, combined with the national or industrial standards related to energy efficiency, defects in the design of indices are analyzed and discussed to optimize the audit system. By digital result it is indicated that the identification of improved evaluation system is higher than that of the implicit assessment system. With the improvement in both of procedural and substantive contents, a relatively perfect evaluation system of energy audit for Iron & Steel Enterprises is obtained. Combined the theory and practice, the evaluation system improved is applied to Tang Iron & Steel Company, which confirms the rationality and feasibility of the system.The works of this paper contribute to the practice in energy audit for Iron & Steel Enterprises.
