| Capital is an important factor in economic development. Capital, labor, land and technology are four fundamental determinants in the development of the economic. Financial markets play a decisive role in allocating capital. Financial market conditions determine the development of regional financial competitiveness directly. Financial competitiveness and overall economic strength has a strong positive correlation. Financial competitiveness is an important part of the comprehensive competitiveness of a region. Research the financial market development of an area, understand the financial strength of the region’s competitiveness, we can improve the efficiency of financial resources in the region, affect socio-economic structure, layout, direction and process of economic development. Thus the financial competitiveness of a region has important research value.This paper define financial competitiveness based on the research results at home and abroad, analyze affecting factors of the financial competitiveness of the regional theoretically, and establish evaluation index system of financial competitiveness of Fujian. And we use factor analysis to research the financial competitiveness of Fujian from horizontal and longitudinal two aspects. Horizontal comparison mainly compares and sorts the financial competitiveness of the Fujian and other eastern provinces through factor analysis, and classified the Fujian and other eastern provinces through cluster analysis. Finally, we study which factors have a major impact on the financial competitiveness of each province through correspondence analysis. Longitudinal comparative is that we study the last ten years financial competitiveness of Fujian, and analyze the movement trends of Fujian’s financial competitiveness and each sub-competitive. Finally, based on empirical results, combined with the actual situation in Fujian, we put forward a few targeted policies proposed to enhance the financial competitiveness of Fujian. |
