Since reform and opening up, China’s economy has been developed fast, GDP has been rising continually and international trade has been growing rapidly. The rapid development of national economy has led to the rise of the logistics industry. With logistics park, logistics base and other logistics projects constructed throughout the whole country, the logistics industrial agglomeration has taking shape. Logistics industry cluster makes great contributions to regional economy, and the impact has been too big to be ignored. As a reason of the limitation of research methods, the area was considered an independent individual in the past research. But the elements flow of different regions makes the development of regional economic can’t be independent. So it’s worth exploring if there is spatial correlation existing in the regional economic growth, what the effect of spatial correlation is and what effect the spatial correlation of the logistics industrial agglomeration have on regional economic growth.Based on this background, this paper analyzes logistics industry agglomeration’s effect on the regional economy growth in theory and uses mathematical analysis methods to process the original data from 2004 to 2013 of each province to find out how logistics industry agglomeration affect regional economic growth, which is the main purpose of this paper. First of all, this paper explores the impact of logistics industrial agglomeration on regional economic growth on the basis of theoretical analysis, which makes a good groundwork for the mathematical analysis in the late period, analyses trends of development of regional economic growth and the logistics agglomeration and discusses the differences and spatial distribution characteristics of different regions. Then this paper makes an empirical analysis on the relationship of the logistics industrial agglomeration and regional economic growth. It uses the logistics ordinary panel data model and spatial panel model to analyzes how logistics industrial agglomeration affect regional economic growth from the overall level of regional economy, industrial economy level and the foreign trade level. Comparing two kinds of estimated results to find out if there are spatial correlations existing in regional economic growth and how the logistics industry agglomeration and its spatial effect affects regional economic growth. Finally this paper puts forward related suggestions based on the conclusion drawn in the previous section. The study found that the regional economy development in China has significant spatial distribution pattern, which is like a ladder:East China (developed), Middle China (less developed), West China (not developed),the speed and efficiency of economic growth, the development of industrial economy(except the first industry) and international trade of different regions have significant spatial correlation. The development between the logistics industry and regional economy almost presents the synchronized spatial distribution. From the overall level of regional economy, the logistics industry agglomeration can effectively promote the regional economic growth and improving the efficiency of regional economic growth. From the analysis on industry economy, it shows that there is no spatial correlation between the first industry economic growth in regions, the logistics industrial agglomeration makes the greatest contribution to the third industry and followed by the second industry, but there is no significant influence on the first industry. From the view of foreign trade, import and export trade between the regions has significant spatial correlation, the logistics industrial cluster only has a significant positive impact on regional import trade, but the spatial effect of logistics industrial agglomeration could suppress import and export trade in the surrounding area.
