The Evaluation Of The Marine Industry Sustainable Development In Qingdao

The development of Marine economy is based on industry. It can’t depart from the support of the Marine industry. Therefore, the degree of Marine industry directly influences the development of Marine economy progress. It should be on the premise of guarantee the economic development, based on the society and the sustainability of the ecosystem, to ensure the sustainable development of Marine industry. Thus, the long term, sustained and healthy development of Marine economy could be guaranteed. Qingdao is an important coastal city of Shandong peninsula, running ahead of other cities in Shandong province in the development of Marine economy. Qingdao Marine economy is over speed in recent years, in order to achieve the advanced level, inevitably lead to the destruction of the environment. Therefore, the trend of sustainable development in Qingdao Marine industry is not optimistic. The sustainable development of Qingdao Marine industry will promote the development of other industrial economy, as well as the development of the whole Marine industry in Shandong province. Through building the evaluation index system of sustainable development in Marine industry by means of establishing indicators associated with Qingdao ocean industries, the present situation and the sustainable development of Qingdao ocean industries could be analyzed. Through related countermeasures, which are able to promote the sustainable development of Qingdao ocean industries and pay much attention to the environmental protection. Further, Qingdao Marine industry completely realizes the sustainable development.The article stated the related theory for the sustainable development of Marine industry and summarizes the domestic and foreign research on sustainable development, to set a theoretical basis and solid foundation for this paper. Through analyzing of present situation in Qingdao Marine industry development, which as the basis, build Qingdao Marine industry sustainable development evaluation index system. The system includes three subsystems, namely, Marine industrial economic system, Marine industry ecosystem, Marine industry society system, and 21 specific indicators. Through the analysis of the data of 2003-2012, as well as the calculation of related index. It concluded that the status of sustainable development in Qingdao ocean industries, also showed economic, social and ecological problems exposed during the development process. Finally, according to the problems and calculation results, and the analysis from foreign advanced experience in the developed countries and domestic Marine industry pattern in developed area, discovered the gap between Qingdao Marine industry and developed countries. On the aspects of economic, social and ecological, put forward suggestions for the sustainable development of Marine industry in Qingdao.
