The Analysis On The Inter-industry Trade High-tech Products And The Influencing Factors Between China And EU

With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, our country needs to build an innovation-oriented country, and our country gives the development of high technology products more and more attention. The European Union as China’s important trade partner keeps close trade relationship with China since it established. This paper tries to research from the perspective of intra-industry trade between China and the EU’s high-tech products trade.High technology products, generally refers to conform to the high technology fields, using cutting-edge technology products, involving aviation, electronic information, software, new energy, new materials, etc.High technology products has now become an indicator of economic development, is a country’s international competitiveness. And compared with other traditional manufacturing industry, the effect on economic growth increased year by year, the degree of the development of high technology products has become the comprehensive national strength important symbol. EU and China, as a representative of the alliance of developed countries and developing countries, in terms of the development of high-tech products has a significant achievement. The high-tech products trade between the two has brought its lucrative trade profits.Since the Second World War, with the growing of exchange of knowledge and goods between the different countries, there is rapid development of international trade has a rapid development, especially for developed countries. In the 1960 s, there was a conspicuous phenomenon in international trade, in the same industry products in two-way flow between countries, which are in the same period a country both export and import this new trade type within the same industry products, the same country for the same industry products export and import phenomenon, scholars called intra-industry trade.This paper mainly analysis the station of high-tech products trade between China and EU, especially the development of industry inter-trade, and discuss the factors affecting the intra-industry trade of high-tech products. By using GL index, index analysis the china-EU high-tech products intra-industry trade, and adopts the method of econometric analysis of the central factors affecting the intra-industry trade of high-tech products.Finally I will give some suggestions according to the analysis, mainly from the aspects of science and technology innovation, government regulation or other relevant policies.This paper completes recent domestic intra-industry trade of high-tech products, especially for high-tech products intra-industry trade between China and EU.As at present the research of high-tech products of intra-industry trade, especially the research in China and EU high-tech products intra-industry trade situation are not much. Although the intra-industry trade theory research has made many achievements, but still it is necessary to further study. Especially the intra-industry trade between China and EU still needs attention. Second, intra-industry trade is growing changes between China and EU, now the research can be used as a stage of the development of the record, for later scholars provide reference information.The main innovation of this paper lies in that besides the traditional Grubel-Lloyd index to study the inter-industry trade, this paper uses dynamic Bruelhart index to study the changing situation of the development of intra-industry trade.Also this paper uses the HS code to get data. In the empirical analysis part, choose the size of the market, foreign direct investment, degree of openness to trade, and other variables to analysis the influence factors of intra-industry trade.And uses 15 countries adopted for 10 years of data on the panel data analysis, this method increases the credibility of the empirical analysis.In this paper, through China and EU countries high-tech products in the development of intra-industry trade scale, the present situation, the analysis of the structure and influencing factors, to provide suggestions to governments and enterprises, through the positive development of intra-industry trade of high-tech products to promote China’s high-tech products trade, and promote China’s high-tech products production technology progress, developing innovative potential, between the European Union to China economic development and trade of high-tech products as well as the future economic cooperation and so on all is of great significance.Through the study found that China and the EU’s high-tech products trade to intra-industry trade is given priority to, but for different countries and different industries there is imbalance.The results of the empirical analysis shows that FDI in central high technology products has the greatest effect in the level of intra-industry trade, and was positively related to relationship. Therefore, our country can be used to optimize the trade structure, improve the utilization efficiency of foreign policy.
