Development Of China Organic Vegetable Industry

Vegetable industry has occupied a predominant role in Chinese rural economy and has become an important channel for Chinese farmers to make fortune and increase production. Under the prevailing circumstances, the Chinese vegetable industry is in a critical period, confronting with the problem of transition and emerging on industrial development pattern of diversification. Logically, organic vegetable industry as a late-model industry has touched off highly attention among the public.Through collecting, sorting the relevant materials and combining with related documents at home and abroad, this paper firstly analyses the development of organic vegetable. The thesis probes further into the development of the organic vegetable industry, especially its background, the course of development, present situation, major problems and measures which the government takes. Then it sumps up the common characters and connotations in development organic vegetable industry by highly analysis and comparing with Germany, America and Japan which embrace the course of development, situation, problems and measures of organic vegetable. Through serious analysis and summery the potential advantages and major problems of Chinese organic vegetable and on the basis of analysis the successful experience and drawing a lesson of developed countries, this paper puts forwards some suggestions on development of organic vegetable industry.
