Statistical Analysis On Management Of Steel Plate Thickness

In the steel industry enterprises, their management databases are storing a lot of product quality data. In order to avoid wasting message because of using the wrong method, this paper based on the statistical methods to analyze the data of steel plate thickness dimension to find new message. This paper summarized some methods of statistical analysis using in the field of quality management. Then used three methods, descriptive statistics, sampling inspection and statistical process control, to analysis the the quality data of steel product. According these analysis we can get some accurate results. It turned out that statistical analysis can accurately draw progress ability level of steel plate thickness. It can also monitor the quality of steel plate thickness accurately. The result of analysis can provide decision basis for managers of steel enterprise.
