The product quality is based on manufacturing process rather than inspection, the product manufacturing step need to be monitored and controlled.This paper focus on the high defect rate of A company voice box, the six sigma DMAIC procedure is performed after high fail rate reason understanding and analysis, and the mathematics statistics tools are used to deal with the huge data which selected by each manufacturing process step, the sampling inspection analysis is used to verify the sampling way, to control the sampling cost and improve working efficiency; The repeatability and reproduction of measure equipment and measure person is verified by measure system analysis, this is the base of data collection and dealing. The Failed mode effect analysis tool is used to screen out the key cause of low pass rate for invoice box, and the key cause is identified by presume inspection. Some kind of SPC control chart are used to improve the key cause which identified by previous step, and SPC control chart also used to monitor and control the process capability for further manufacturing.After those improvement actions, the invoice box CNC manufacturing capability index is increased from 0.95 to 1.1, and the pass rate is increased from 60% to 81.95%, for invoice box assembling, the pass rate is increased from 95.5% to 98.5%, it has approached the forecast goal...
