This paper selects setting precision of setting process as a sample, which is bimetal bandasw project of S manufacturing (Kunshan)Co.,Ltd. Do a detailed analysis for European factory product quality problem, as well as for feedback problem in the Chinese market, finding out the product quality problems-setting problem.For this problem using statistical process control (Statistical process control, SPC) method undertakes an analysis to the problem.Using professional software, Minitab software to anlyse the problem, and using Xbar-R control chart to anylse the data.find out a problem, make measure.Improving the setting problem by PDCA cycle theory.This paper also collects the data of rival, and use the Minitab software to analyse process capability analysis, compare the result, and find the difference. Then learning from competitors, reduce the gap, improve the market competitiveness of the products.Through reseach and application SPC in the past two years, Setting precision has improved significantly, process capability of Cpk can reach more than 1.1, the scrap rate has been reduced, it can give average annual profits of RMB50,0000. The company uses SPC to analyse and monitor production process, to achieve the "quality first, cost down, efficiency up" purposes, improve the company's products quality and competitiveness.
