With the rapid development of global economy, a waste of resources and depletion,environmental pollution and deterioration is growing. The economic operation in affecting the state of the environment at the same time, also has given rise to new ways of environmental protection. Green credit is economic measures applied in the field of environmental protection as an innovative financial policy, it set up the environment in the field of credit access threshold, both played a commercial bank to environmental protection and industrial upgrading of positive guiding role, also provides a way to control the bank credit risk, so as to promote the sustainable development of economy and environment.Green credit in our country to implement only more than ten years, the implementation of green credit development in hebei province in the national laws and regulations is not sound, under the influence of responsibility consciousness is generally not high, there are many problems of regional and uniqueness.This article first analyzes the origin and the connotation of green credit, combining theoretical research and empirical research, then introduces the domestic and foreign advanced experience of implementation of green credit; On this basis, this paper studies the green credit of commercial bank in hebei province’s progress, and reveals the current from the angle of internal and external factors restricting the development of hebei green credit;Think green credit needs the bank, enterprise, government and the third party participation effort together, puts forward the targeted and systematic countermeasures and suggestions,so as to provide reference for better implementation of green credit in hebei province.
