In the knowledge economy era, China’s construction cost consulting business as a typical knowledge-intensive enterprises in recent years, faced with many challenges and obstacles on the road to sustainable development, in order to successfully break through these challenges and obstacles, and achieve in the brutal competition the market will survive, we must establish a harmonious sound knowledge management system.In this paper, according to "ask questions, theoretical support, problem analysis, problem solving" research ideas, firstly, the current development status of project cost consulting firm conducted a cause analysis and summary, found that there are many problems in development of the project cost consulting firm, such as lack of standardized management system, employing mobility, the generally low level of expertise, lack of awareness of enterprises and their employees, these problems seriously hindered the future development of enterprises.
