Impact Of Township Circulation Enterprises On Rural Residents Consumption Under Urbanization Perspective

As a bridge between production and consumption, the importance of circulation to national economy is getting more and more attention and circulation was treated as a key of further development in Twelve-Five planning. In the context of China’s urbanrural dual structure, the township circulation enterprise plays an important role in activating rural market and consumption. So it is significant to stimulate rural consumption under current requirement to inspire domestic demand. The township circulation enterprises need to get more attention and support as the main part of circulation industry and as the bottleneck of rural circulation system, this would severely constrained rural residents’ consumption enthusiasm and convenience.This paper attempts to build an impact model of township circulation enterprise to rural consumption, discussing the extent and the way of the impact in eastern, middle and western China.First this paper defines the concept of circulation, introduce the relevant theory of circulation and consumption. Then analyze the study of the relationship between circulation and consumption from domestic and foreign research, highlighting the rural circulation industry and rural consumption. On the basis of previous research, with the way of descriptive statistics analysis, a brief introduction of the current status of circulation is shown. This part try to make a summary of the distribution industry development status and prospects through the overall situation, the industrial structure and regional characteristics analysis.Then analyzes the current situation of the rural circulation and briefly introduce the process of urbanization in China. After the discussion of the circulation status, the paper shows the current spending and consumption structure of rural residents and compares it with the urban consumers. In order to understand the important role of rural consumption of enhancing our current economy, this part uses the way of linear regression to compare the potential contribution to the national economy in rural and urban consumer spending. After analysis of rural township circulation and consumption, the paper focuses on the impact of rural distribution companies on rural residents’ consumption. With the panel data of 27 provinces from 2003 to 2012, this part analyze the impact of rural distribution companies on rural residents’ consumption under the urbanization perspective and describe separately by different characteristic of defferent regions.After the relationship description of the township circulation enterprises and rural residents’ consumption, the paper uses data envelopment analysis method to construct the index system and evaluate the influence efficiency from 2003 to 2012 of township circulation enterprises and rural residents’ consumption. Then identify the problems of certain years.In the last chapter, this paper presents the policy recommendations to promote the township circulation enterprises to inspire rural consumption and lists deficiencies and outlook of further study.
