Facing increasingly fierce market competition and complex external environment, corporations must create their own unique competitive advantage s in order to survive and develop. Human resource as a kind of capital hard to be copied and imitated by peer companies, are more concerned by co rporations. Human resource, through the scientific and effective management, can promote and facilitate business development so as to create value for corporations. With the development of China’s economic transformation, the operational ideas of companies are changing subsequently, and begin to pay more attention to obtain and cultivate human resource with high quality. They also focus on improving the strategic status of human resource management, mainly because strategic human resource management emphasizes more on achieving corporate strategic objectives, and improving the organizational performance, and thus making companies able to maintain long-term sustainable competitive advantage.This paper mainly analyzes the impact of strategic human resource management on organizational performance and establishes a regression model between the role transition of HRM and organizational effectiveness from the perspective of role transition of HRM under the background of China?s economy transformation. Empirical research of the model mainly applies the method of factor analysis and multiple regression analysis making use of enterprise data of our country and analyzes how the role transition of HRM will impact organizational effectiveness. Considering for the resear ch purposes, we divide organizational effectiveness into two dimensions, namely the external organizational effectiveness and internal organizational effectiveness; Based on previous literatures, we introduce corporate nature, corporate assets, the number of employees and corporate age as the moderator variables, and their moderating effect were further discussed.In this paper, the empirical analysis results confirm that there exists promoting effect between the role transition of human resource management and organizational effectiveness in the Chinese context, simultaneously there are significant differences between role transition of human resource management and the internal and external organization effective in enterprise with different ownership, firm size and firm age. At last, under the great background and environment of China’s economic transformation, according to the results of empirical research, we made some suggestions for Chinese enterprises to promote the transition of human resource management to strategic human resource management and improve organizational effectiveness.
