| Under the background of the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the implementation of strategic emerging industry development plan in Jilin Province, the advanced equipment manufacturing account for a large proportion of the overall planning and strategy development, and therefore it is very necessary for the advanced equipment manufacturing industry explore the nature of the associated evaluation.In this paper, based on SWOT analysis methods for the development of advanced equipment manufacturing industry in Jilin Province Survey conducted research and analysis of data by different sectors in recent years various advanced equipment manufacturing industry, were carried out factor analysis and principal component analysis to determine the development of various sectors, and scores to arrive on the advanced nature of the equipment manufacturing industry relevant conclusions.
