Study On Influence Factors Of Environmental Information Disclosure

In the just-concluded two sessions in 2015, the government re-emphasized the need to strengthen energy conservation, iron-fisted control environment. Production and business activities, especially heavy polluting industries, harm to the environment very seriously. Government environmental authorities require companies to disclose environmental information, but also to encourage companies to disclose environmental information as much as possible. Based on the low level of China’s environmental information disclosure, the poor quality of the status quo of Chinese environmental information in this article on the Shanghai Stock Exchange companies heavily polluting industries to disclose factors research, to find a reasonable and effective way to improve our environmental information disclosure, promote sustainable development of enterprises, also provide a reference for government regulation.In this paper, we used normative and empirical research method of combining. First, we analyzed the development and the factors which affected domestic and international environmental information disclosure. Secondly, based on content analysis, we discussed disclose defects of the information on the environment of heavy polluting industries which based on Shanghai market to. Finally, we used the empirical analysis to translate influencing factors of environmental information disclosure about corporate financial performance and corporate board size of randomly selected 220 heavily polluting enterprises. because of Chinese unique enterprises equity model, in order to further explore the different modes of equity the difference between environmental information disclosure, the 220 samples were divided into state-controlled enterprises and non-state-owned holding company 110, and then compared the influence of the board size and corporate financial performance of environmental information disclosure.Studies have shown that financial performance through the environmental information disclosure inhibition, size of the board to play a catalytic role in the disclosure of environmental information; comparison group, the state-owned holding companies to disclose the overall situation is less than the non-state-owned holding companies, but the two factors on Environmental Information Disclosure The impact is stronger than the non-state-owned holding companies. In a concluding: pressure the government to directly promote and guide corporate environmental information disclosure. In the current heavily polluting industries most listed companies are under state-controlled case, normative laws and regulations, supervise business activities, promote the improvement of the state-owned holding company level of disclosure of environmental information, but also by the lead state holding enterprises, enhance Environmental information disclosure of heavily polluting industries levels.
