The Study On The Impact Of Population Structure On Industrial Structure In Guizhou Province

The historic opportunity of rapid economic development in Guizhou Province is coming, the next five to ten years is undoubtedly a critical period of economic growth in Guizhou. The characteristic of population structure of Guizhou province is show that the number of labor age population is large, The implementation of the family planning policy makes the population in Guizhou produced the demographic dividend, researching the effect of population structure on the industrial structure of Guizhou Province would not only to be able to promote the economic development of Guizhou, but also has a profound influence on the Guizhou population structure and industrial structure adjustment.The studying of population structure is the core problem for the development of China’s population, also is the question which is long-term concerned about by the world demography, economics scholars. In this paper, through analyzing the data of the structure of the population in Guizhou Province from 1990 to 2012, describing the status of demographic characteristics of Guizhou Province. Based on these factors, analyzed the impact of population structure on the industrial structure. First, through establishing the model, using regression analysis to analyze the data of population structure and industrial structure form 1990 to 2012, finding that the population structure in Guizhou Province is not very reasonable, large numbers of people have been tied to the agriculture is the critical constraint factor for the economic development in Guizhou Province. Meanwhile, the paper selected 15 indicators associated with the industrial structure from 1990 to 2012, and established the evaluation system for the impact of population structure on the industrial structure, using principal component analysis to explore the effect of population structure on the industrial structure. Based on the methods of comprehensive analysis to explore and the trends of the impact of the demographic structure on the industrial development in Guizhou Province, put forward some strategies and suggestions that is in favor of helping population and industries operation well.
