Studies On The Efficiency Of Technology Acquisition Of Manufacturing Industries In China

At present, manufacturing industries occupy an important position in China’s industrial economy. Evaluating and analyzing the technical acquisition performance of Chinese manufacturing industries are necessary and urgent to clarify several problems including: current situation and features in change of technical acquisition input-output,industrial disparity of technical acquisition input-output, allocative efficiency of technical acquisition resources and current situation of technology acquisition resources utilization. The study’s conclusion will provide foundation for manufacturing industries improving policy-making of technical acquisition performance.Based on the qualitative method, we exert descriptive statistic method, nonparametric statistics method and so on. With statistical data during 10 years of manufacturing industries, we make a comparatively systematic research of Chinese manufacturing industries on following problems: features in change of the different models of the input of the technical acquisition in manufacturing industries; variation trend and industrial difference comparation of technical acquisition input-output; investment efficiency measure and utilization rate analysis of technical acquisition input; technology acquisition, investment efficiency measure and its influence factor analysis, effect analysis of national technical innovation tax incentive policy. At last, based on analytical results, we study the suggestions and countermeasures in improving innovation performance of manufacturing industries in China. The following conclusions are obtained:Technology acquisition of manufacturing industries are showing a tendency to improve as a whole, while we find out significant difference between different industries. There are obvious enhancement in technical innovation input and output. From the manufacturing industries’ perspective, there is an obviously advantage on equipment manufacturing industry, such as metal products, ordinarily Machinery Manufacturing, special purpose equipment manufacturing, electric equipment and machinery and computers, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing. Equipment manufacturing industry is with high investment, high production and lower growth. From the efficiency of technology acquisition’s perspective, there are75% of all the industries which have relatively inferior efficiency. The average utilization rate of technology acquisition input is less than 60%.Technology acquisition efficiency is still not high. This paper holds that the internal environments and the external environments have great influences to technology acquisition efficiency of Chinese manufacturing industries. Based on the analysis, this paper put forward countermeasures to improve the performance of technology acquisition efficiency of Chinese manufacturing industries.
