Transportation has always been known as the artery of national economic development. Since reform and opening-up, a tremendous achievement has been made in the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region transportation. However, there is still a gap compared with other economically developed areas in China. And it is far more behind the transportation system of developed country. Many problems have became the constraining bottleneck of regional economic integration and of building moderately prosperous society, such as central city traffic jams, regional node communication inconvenience between cities, poor convergence among all kinds of transportation and so on.In the context of collaborative development, transportation integration would be the first field and the sally port since the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region integration has became a national strategy. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region transportation integration concept has been come up with for nearly twenty years. The top three modern transportation obstacles are the boundaries of administrative divisions, the disadvantages of systems and mechanisms and the industry fragmentation barriers.Taking regional development needs into consideration, we have to equip with international vision and advanced concepts to develop transportation.Based on the theoretical study, this dissertation has comprehensively and objectively analyzed the development present situation and restraining factors of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region transportation through comparative analysis. This dissertation pays attention to the politic factors that affect the transportation integration and promotes the top-level design. With bringing in the new energy, network, and Big Data for support, this dissertation draws on the experience of developed countries and regions and creates a transportation concept that is convenient, highly effective, green and low-carbon, and people-oriented.
