Information security is the most important one in the banking and financial industry, the demand for high security in banking and financial services creates both challenges and new business opportunities. Information technology(IT) becomes increasingly embedded in the banking operating environments that they support. This research revealed a lot of risks and threats to the security of banking information which are increasing day by day. The purpose of this research is to study potential risks and problems in IT information security in banking industry. This study aimed to identify the extent of the effectiveness and efficiency of information security management in banking industries.By using the case study of H bank. The research and analysis includes information security management, access management, IT operation management to explore why information security should be a priority for businesses and deals with how a security expert can model potential losses for their organization. The research is mainly refer to the ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) service lifecycle publications, compare with real practice in IT management of banking industry and the suggestions of best practice from ITIL lifecycle.
