With the deepening of economic globalization and leaping development of information dissemination, our economy faces with a certain degree of downward pressure. And enterprises in China also face with severe situation both at home and abroad. The advent of “Internet+”age is increasingly changing people’s consumption patterns and concepts, enterprises’ business model and profit margins. The fierce competition has to allow enterprises to rethink and returnees employees’ important role on business development. A growing number of scholars and experts pay much attention to employees’ organizational-based self-esteem as a kind of psychological capital occurring in specific organizational context and having investment gains.This psychological resources can change individual attitudes and behaviors, increase their sense of identity and dedication to career, and then help improve employees’ job performance.This study mainly analysis the employees’ organizational-based self-esteem’s direct impact on job performance, and indirect impact on job performance through employee engagement. On the basis of checking,sorting and summarizing relevant literature,this paper identify the preliminary directions. Then selecting and defining variables in order to form theoretical research framework. The artical also desin measurement scale and questionnaire according to the current situation,and take paractical methods for data analysis. Finally the study verifies the hypothesis of research model through some statistical analysis methods.According to data analysis results,employees’ subjective organizational-based self-esteem has positive effect on dedication and task performance,but it has no significant effect on interpersonal promotion;employees’ objective organizational-based self-esteem has positive effect on job performance;organizational-based self-esteem has positive effect on employee engagement;work engagement has significant positive effect on job performance,organizational engagement has significant positive effect on interpersonal promotion and decication,but it has no significant effect on task performance; employee engagement play an intermediary role between organizational-based self-esteem and job performance. Finally,this research puts forward some relevant strategies to improve job performance from two vantage points according to the empirical results.
