The Impact Of Organizational Support On Innovation Behavior Of Workers:The Roles Of Organization-Based Self-esteem And Active Personality

After entering the era of knowledge economy,knowledge and innovation are increasingly valued by organizations.In the academic world,innovation has also become another hot topic of research in management research.It is important to clarify the mechanism of the innovation behavior of employees in the enterprise,both in management practice and in academic research.In this study,organizational support as an independent variable,organizational self-esteem as a mediator variable,active personality as a regulatory variable,employee innovation behavior as a dependent variable to build a regulated intermediary model,combined with social exchange theory,self-validation theory and other theories,made six assumptions.Through the analysis of 253 valid questionnaires,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)organizational support has a positive impact on employee innovation behavior;(2)organizational support has a positive impact on organizational-based self-esteem;(3)organizational self-esteem has positive impact on employee innovation(4)Organizational self-esteem plays a part in mediating between organizational support and employee innovation behavior;(5)Initiative personality regulates the boundary of organizational support for employee innovation behavior;(6)Proactive personality is in"Organizational Support? Organizational-B ased Self-Esteem?Employee Innovation Behavior" has played a regulatory role in the intermediary model.This study further clarifies the mechanism of employee innovation behavior and supports the potential negative impact of initiative personality.
