As the improvement of urban residents’ leisure awareness, city park becomes an important part of leisure space for local residents and tourists. The author did research on the relationship between city park users’ leisure involvement and place attachment, to improve city park users’ level of place attachment, and thus increase revisit rate for parks.According to the view above, the author used the methods of literature review and questionnaire survey to do the research. First of all, searched and analyzed the studies about leisure involvement and place attachment, and then selected pleasure, importance and symbolic sign as dimensions of leisure involvement, and selected place dependence and place identity to measure place attachment. And, the author gave six assumptions.Then, the author carried on the research design, including the design of research framework and questionnaire. According to the research purpose, the author chose Shenzhen Lotus Park as a case, and collected the questionnaire data.Through analyzing the data, the author finds some results. Firstly, city park users’ leisure involvement has a positive influence on place attachment, higher leisure involvement leads to a higher level of place attachment. Secondly, the effect of demographic characteristics and leisure behavior characteristics of urban park users on leisure involvement and place attachment differs. In the end, the author put forward optimization suggestions to improve Lotus Park users’ place attachment.The contributions are as followed: Firstly, a study on city park users’ leisure involvement and place attachment is a new area. Secondly, the author tries to introduce demographic characteristics and leisure behavior characteristics which are different from former researches.
