At present,more and more enterprises pay attention to their innovation abilities. However, with the complexity and uncertainty of technological innovation, the promotion of innovation capability and core competitiveness from single enterprise is being challenged. Innovation is the key to competition of modern high-tech enterprise, which plays an important role on keeping long-term cultivation of innovation ability.With the development of ecomomic globalization, more and more companies are facing unprecedented competitions. If they want to get subsistence and a long-term development during the market competition, they must use the cooperative innovation and technological improvement. Then they will get a greater degree to improve their own competitive advantage and innovation ability. Nowadays, the key point of enterprise’s complementary resources getting is the formation of innovation network between enterprises and enterprise. Meanwhile, this is also an important way to improve their own advantages of sustainable competitiveness. Technology innovation is complex and systematic and is carried out in a uncertainty environment. Therefore, if individual enterprises want to get innovation abilities and advantages of sustainable competitiveness, they must seek the new cooperation outside their own organization. This thesis is based on the previous studies and analyze the complexity and structure characteristics of innovation network. Then explain how the complexity characteristics of innovation network affect different enterprises’ innovation performance. This thesis is helpful to promote the development of modern Chinese enterprise and also has important theory value and practical significance.Aiming at the complexity of innovation network, this thesis mainly analyzed and defined from four dimensions: the strength of relationship, the quality of relationship, the breadth of relationship and the position of center. Before starting the research, this thesis has stated the theory of innovation network, the complexity of innovation network structure and the different dimensions of innovation performance. Then, this thesis is based on the previous scholars’ research and from the point of empirical analysis discussed the effect with the complexity of innovation network in different dimensions on innovation performance. Finally, the theory and hypothesis of this research is proposed. constructs the overall conception theory model, which putsforward the research hypothesis. At the same time, through the study conclusion of relevant scholars’, data are collected through questionnaire design and were analyzed with SPSS statistical software. And also the questionnaire data were analyzed in the multivariate linear regression method. Finally, the analysis results of the model are discussed in detail and illustrated, which put forward improving innovation performance strategy.This thesis explains the basic features of the innovation network and analyzes the effect of complexity of innovation networks to the innovation performance, which through the strength of relationship, the quality of relationship, the breadth of relationship and position centrality. In this thesis, the innovation performance is divided into incremental and radical innovation performance, From the perspective of empirical analysis, this thesis illustrate the effect of innovation networks’ different dimensions to the innovation performance’ mechanisms. Hence, the result of this thesis shows that relationship strength of the innovation networks is more strongly to incremental innovation performance as opposed to radical innovation performance. However, the relationship breadth and position centrality of innovation networks is more strongly to radical innovation performance as opposed to incremental innovation performance.
