Study On The Bidding Of Electricity Market In Northeast China

As the traditional monopoly industry, power industry is lack of power and pressure to carry out technological innovation, the overall efficiency is not high, the operation management is backward, and can not meet the needs of social and economic development. From the perspective of national economic development: electric power industry to the market is the inevitable choice of history. The successful experience of the reform of the electric power market in foreign countries also inspires the market oriented reform of the electric power industry in other countries. But in 2001, the California electric power crisis has caused people to think about the power reform: China’s electricity market is not completely monopolized the market, with the competition and openness, but as the basic industry, government regulation is necessary.In this paper, we believe that the establishment of the power market should break the existing monopoly power system, introduce market mechanism and competition mechanism, coordinate the relationship between government regulation and market. This paper mainly analyzes the bidding situation of regional power market in Northeast China in 2005, analyzes the existing problems and gives the solutions to the problems in the northeast region of China.
