The Study On The Functions Of Government In Rural Tourism Development In Yongchun

Developing rural tourism is one of the effective ways to realize sustainable development of building "beautiful countryside" in the new era, which is significant to the construction of the new socialist countryside. Yongchun is the first county to start building beautiful countryside in Fujian province in 2012, it has a certain foundation in rural tourism development. However, there are many obvious problems in the process of development, such as homogeneity of local landscape, low taste, incompetent function of public service, environmental pollution, resource destruction, also asymmetry of trading information about rural tourism products, competing interest in using public resources, as well as structural contradiction between supply and demand of rural tourism. The way to better use the functions of government in macro-control and management is worth studying, which is of great significance to the healthy development of rural tourism in Yongchun County.By studying the problems about positioning of government function in the rural tourism development, including using theories, such as new public service, market failures and the functions of the government, the thesis focus on the requirements about the transformation of government function, and begins with the rural tourism of Yongchun County and uses research methods such as theory and literature of public management, interview and investigation, as well as case analysis to summarize research findings the domestic and foreign scholars got about related connotation of rural tourism and strategy of government management. According to the present situation of rural tourism development in Yongchun county in recent years and the rule and experience local government at home and abroad used in developing rural tourism, the thesis will analyze the problems and reasons in development, then put forward that how the government should properly positioning function, and raise the concrete measures of optimizing the functions of the government and practice in developing rural tourism of Yongchun County.
