The Research On Promoting Vegetable Standardization Construction In Chengdu

In recent years, Vegetable quality has been an industry-wide and national problem. The vegetable industry is constrained by limited resources, factor of production and market, whose mode of development need transformation urgently. Agricultural standardization is the one of essential factor to promote the vegetable industry become efficient, high performance and environment friendly agriculture. In fact, vegetable standardization has been the basic component in the vegetable basket project. Vegetable industry is one of the dominant agriculture industries in Chengdu, has important position. With the accelerating urbanization, agricultural modernization, upgrading of consumption structure, economic integration of urban and rural regions, vegetable industry status has undergone major transformation. In the context of this reality, it makes for enhancing the standardization and standardized operations of vegetable industry, promoting the fusion of scientific research achievements, modern supervisor mode and traditional farming experience, promoting the vegetable industry’s transition to quality and returns-oriented, achieving the vegetable market’s equilibrium of high quality and favorable price, to explore how to optimize the practice of standard implementation and how to break the plight in standard implementation.Perspective-based system paradigm, this article analyses the primary cause for the evolution of vegetable industry and make clear the intrinsic mechanism of standardized promotion from three aspects:individuals, organizations, and industry. Then, on the basis of field research data, this article summarizes the characteristics of vegetable standardization path in Chengdu, as well as the current situation and problem of vegetable standardization system construction. Then this study investigates the personal feature, production situation and standardization demand characteristics of the heterogeneous farmers. Subsequently, this paper discusses the implementing behaviors of farmers and influence factors, through constructing linear multiple regression model. The study finds that land, labor,capital and other elements have a positive impact on the implementing behaviors of farmers, so do the regulatory policies; risk-sharing system; market capability; industry organization; information-access and the personal feature of farmers, the risk-sharing system and trend of part-time have a negative impact, other factors have a positive impact.Finally, this paper borrows insights from the experience of foreign agricultural standardization construction and vegetable standardization construction in domestic organizations, provides a demand-oriented path to promote the practice of standard implementation, come up with specific measures against the problems from the micro and macro aspects. Such measures including perfecting the long-term standardization supporting mechanism by the government, structuring and perfecting the technical service for standardization, Strengthening the market system and message service system, establishing perfect formulating and supervising system for standardization, improving the vegetable operators’ ability to standardize their behavior of production, improving the producers’systematization degree and the tightness of benefit linking.
