| Since the reform and opening up, the overall economy of China presents a rapid development trend, the electric power industry as the main areas of the economic market has also undergone a series of reforms, and achieved significant progress. There exsit complex relevance between Electric power industry and the overall economic development.The key to solve the problem is the power supply that can meet the needs of economic growth, so the study of the problem of investment in power generation industry is the key to solve the problem. Through many years of development, the power industry has made progress, but there are also many problems, especially as the power source of power generation industry is more obvious. On the one hand, the local government from the point of view of local economic development encourage local station strongly, there is a phenomenon of "ride on a horse to enclose ", on the other hand, the development of regulatory policies failed to follow the development of the electricity industry, there is a problem, so it is necessary and realistic to study the effectiveness of investment in power generation industry.This paper mainly uses quantitative and qualitative methods to study the problem of investment in power generation industry. I select the data of power generation companies from 2008 to 2014, the sample selected 30 listed companies, through econometric analysis method to get the investment situation of the listed companies, the results are classified as the group of over-investment and the group of under-investment, based on the analysis of the overall situation of power industry. And the overall situation of power industry generation is in the situation of over-investment.That not only provide a reference for the industry of the relevant personnel, but also provide a direction for the development of the overall policy. |
