With the rapid development of internet nowadays, more corporations choose to use internet to market themselves and their products, which has been accepted universally. An increasing more corporations join the internet marketing which brings much more benefits, however, aquatic products marketing still use the traditional marketing ways, which has a lot of disadvantages and weakness, such as the low quality of participants of the traditional marketing, usually the trust cannot be built in a short time between seller and buyer. In addition, there are wasting cases lying in the traditional marketing mode. From producer to wholesaler is the first exchange, from wholesaler to retailer is the second exchange, but the situation is that there are multiple transactions in the second exchange, which has bad effects to the market exchange principles leading to the rising of the cost, and further influence the improvement of purchasing power of consumers. From the view of logistics, the first exchange take place in the sea, consequently the logistics channels are all water transportation. While the second exchange takes place usually in big wholesale market which experienced transportation once. From retailer to buyer is the third exchange, which always takes place at open fair or aquatic market, which needs transportation as well. Due to the properties of aquatic products, the freshness of the products have to be assured, hence the multiple transportation will have bad effect on the freshness. In the end, there is no sound management between the first and second exchange. The wholesalers haven’t pay tax during buying and selling, which has a pretty big waste of resources and has influence on state tax revenue. Compare to the traditional aquatic products marketing, using internet marketing method could prevent those problems above to some extent. First of all, the third money management platform could play a good role in paying and collection between seller and buyer, what’s more, the third platform could also work as the middleman to protect the interests of both seller and buyer. Second, internet marketing could realize the transaction directly from wholesaler to retailer or consumer, which could prevent the happening of multiple transactions and help to control the price of the aquatic products. In addition, the purchasing power of consumers will be enhanced and the transportation will be reduced once compared to the traditional one, which could save a certain resources and make the logistics more simple and effective, which also improves the freshness of the aquatic products. In the end, the using of internet platform could have a quite good effect on the management of the transactions of aquatic products. Due to the existence of third platform, internet marketing also has important role in management and tax revenue.In the whole, the marketing of aquatic products through internet will replace the traditional one in the short future. This paper will focus on the pitfalls of the traditional marketing mode, and the description of the internet marketing, the feasibility analysis of aquatic products marketing through internet, the description of the advantage of the internet marketing and the introduction of some of the measures and solutions in the internet marketing.
