FAW car Limited by Share Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of FAW group. FAW car’s main product is the red flag, Pentium, Mazda brand vehicle production. FAW car existing staff 20000 people, with a set of product development, product manufacturing, product sales ability of the first domestic listing Corporation. FAW car is the first car factory, engine factory, Changchun gear factory and other three companies to set up the assets of the Limited by Share Ltd. This paper aims to analyze the development status of FAW car company, through the research and development of domestic and foreign automotive R & D company to find out the problems in the development of enterprises, and to explore the development strategy for enterprise development.The first chapter introduces the reform and opening up of 30 years, with the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, China’s automobile production and sales have been completely beyond the United States. To achieve annual sales of about 10000000 of the results, and become the world’s largest auto production consumer, the international automotive manufacturers are increasingly focused on sales performance in the Chinese market. Think back to the embarrassing situation of China’s car, to today’s amazing results, the process is extremely difficult and curved. Have to say, our country has a lot of detours. China’s auto industry since the reform and opening up, mainly through three stages: the introduction of joint ventures, imitation innovation, independent innovation. National industry has greatly advanced the same time, the FAW car has appeared and the market is not the same pace, because they do not have the market competitiveness, leading to a sharp decline in sales. The lack of product strategy of FAW car, which leads to the inferior position in the market competition, needs to carry on the urgency of the strategic plan.In the second chapter, the paper introduces the research and development status of FAW car, and introduces the development of the past few years, but still exist many problems. Reflected in the lack of independent R & D capability, lack of R & D investment, the introduction of product digestion and absorption is not enough, lack of R & D personnel, lack of knowledge products and other outstanding issues, to some extent hindered the development of the company. Through macro environment analysis, competitive environment analysis and SWOT analysis, the future development direction of FAW car product development is obtained.The third chapter, according to the existing problems of the company and the results of the analysis of the competition, the FAW car R & D strategy, and research and development strategy. Low carbon new energy strategy, technology innovation strategy, security intelligence strategy, virtual R & D technology strategy, the core ability of the system to enhance the strategy, etc..The fourth chapter, according to the last chapter of the strategic objectives, the implementation of the strategy. Through the introduction of lean management thinking, the decomposition of strategic objectives, through the use of(PDCA) strategy, develop a strategy implementation plan, to further develop the strategy to implement the content, to ensure the project in accordance with the predetermined target, and then the Surety Company to develop strategies to effectively implement. Details of the implementation of the strategic plan will be based on the idea of lean management, into the implementation of the implementation of the program, which helps enterprises to eliminate waste, increase business sales performance, improve corporate efficiency.
