Research On Old-age Security In Rural Areas Of Meizhou City Under The Background Of Aging Population

The aging population has become the main development trend of the world’s population; China’s population aging process is accelerating. Meizhou city, as the poor mountainous city, the aging of the population related index is higher than the national and provincial level. At the same time, the agricultural population in Meizhou city accounted for the proportion of the total population, the problem of aging population in rural areas is more worthy of attention. Influenced by the factors of the current family planning policy, change the traditional ideas, the transfer of rural labor force, the sources of funding pension security is insufficient, rural families in Meizhou city in the rural old-age pension security effectiveness gradually decreased, the rural land endowment model is not sustainable, the rural pension services to the rural old-age insurance system is not reasonable, the climate, the elderly population has not truly realize the "medical care" and other issues. The existence of these problems, increased the pressure on the rural old-age pension, family pension raised a great challenge, affecting the quality of rural elderly pension, which restrict the development of the rural endowment. In such a social background and the premise, has the significant practical significance problem of old-age security in rural areas of Meizhou city.In this paper, the basic situation and the rural old-age security from the aging of the population of Meizhou city the basic situation, combing through the relevant data of the aging of population in Meizhou city and rural old-age security system, based on the facts and analyses the main problems of rural old-age security in Meizhou city and the reasons, and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions five aspects: one is to establish and perfect the mechanism of pension investment channels, the two is to further promote and strengthen the family pension mode, the three is to accelerate the development of rural pension industrialization construction, four is to improve and perfect the medical security system of rural life, the five is the development of the rural economy to enhance the elderly happiness index, in order to improve the rural old-age security system in Meizhou City, to speed up the process of building a well-off society.This thesis consists of six parts: the first parts is the introduction, mainly elaborated the research goal and the significance, methods and contents of the study of the topic, and the research status at home and abroad are reviewed in this paper. The second part reviews the theoretical basis of the aging population and pension security, the definition of related concepts and the research index. The third part summarizes the comparison of the data in the form of the aging of population in Meizhou city and the status of the rural old age security. The fourth part of the main problems in rural old-age security of Meizhou City and the presence of the root causes of problems are analyzed. The fifth part of the combination of problem analysis put forward some suggestions to improve the rural old-age security system in Meizhou city.
