The Research On Risk Zoning And Rate-Making Of Rapeseed Insurance In Zhejiang

The premium rate of many kind of agricultural insurance in Zhejiang Province is unified now. It would make the risk level and premium rate mismatched inevitably and hindered the development of agricultural insurance. So this article researches risk zoning and rate making for the agricultural insurance in Zhejiang Province, taking rapeseed insurance for example. It will help to solve some of the problems in agricultural insurance. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, this article analyses the risk confronted with the rapeseed production in Zhejiang Province. It takes line moving average method to estimate the trend yield (the normal yield). Then, this article applies Matlab software to estimate the distribution of the reduction rate, according to the trend yield and the actual yield. In this step, non-parameter information diffusion model is better than other method. This part of research tentatively shows the risk level of each city in Zhejiang Province.Secondly, this article applies SPSS software to make the risk zoning about the rapeseed production in Zhejiang Province. It sets an index system of growing risk, which contains irrigation index, light index and so on. Then this research takes the integrated use of factor analytic and fuzzy clustering method to make risk zoning. It generalizes all the indexes to 4 factors, and divides the production into 4 level of risk.At last, this article applies Easyfit software and Matalb software to estimate the premium rate of rapeseed insurance in each city, based on the RSV. It should screen out the best model for the RSV at first, then estimate the premium rate by parameter model. The last step is adjusting the rate by the method of Quebec.
