Compensation is a part of the human resources management most managers concern. For many people, do a good job is not his ultimate goal, he is always hope that in proper compensation after the good achievements. If an employee can not get due reward, so his work enthusiasm is not high, and it is impossible to persistently maintain it. Branch A of China Guangfa Bank, is one of the most rapid development in the local joint-stock bank, from the end of the 20th century, its main business includes credit card service, service for small and medium enterprises as well as the network bank, and around the main business for development; In terms of employee compensation design, Branch A of China Guangfa Bank closely integrated with the bank performance appraisal, formed a relatively good employee compensation management system, and received good results, but there are also some problems.With the compensation and performance for Branch A of China Guangfa Bank as the research object, this paper takes a comprehensive analysis to explore its design scheme, and its main contents are divided into four parts:The first part puts forward the research significance, research status, and research literature review on the compensation design and performance evaluation; The second part analyzes the theories about compensation design and performance evaluation of the three basis: the enterprise performance theory, the compensation theory and the incentive and constraint theory, for establishing the theoretical basis of the full text; The third part discusses the present situation and problems of the compensation design and performance evaluation in Branch A of China Guangfa Bank, in order to induce inconsistencies between current compensation design and performance appraisal. The investigated reasons can be summarized as five aspects:compensation form lacking diversity, compensation design thought being rigid, salary system being unfair internally, welfare policy lacking flexibility, reward behavior lacking a basis of performance appraisal. At the last part, the paper puts forward to the construction of performance appraisal design idea on the basis of analysis of the present situation and the problems, and makes the counter-measure analysis of compensation design and performance evaluation for Branch A of China Guangfa Bank, and does a optimization design for performance evaluation and compensation system.Formulated the plan since December 2013, in the year running, synchronous effect feedback investigation, and according to the statistical analysis on the structure, we can find that employee satisfaction under the new performance appraisal and compensation scheme significantly better than the old system. Therefore, the new plan is successful.
