The Typical Urban Agglomeration "Urban-Rural" Coordination Relation And Evolution In China

Economic globalization and regional intergration became two major characteristics of the world’s economic development.The rapid development of urbanization gradually cause the larger and larger differences between urban and rural,it seriously hindered our country’s political,economic and social harmonious development.With the rapid development of urbanization,the relationship between cities become more and more closely,now in China,urban agglomerations become the main mode of urban and regional development.the urban-rural problem is not just due to single city,is also closly ties to he regional development.Therefore,research the urban-rural relationship in urban agglomerations has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,we research the two typical urban agglomerations in China:Beijingtianjin-hebei and Yangze river delta urban agglomerations as examples,based on mutli-source remote sensing data and statistics data,used the coupling coordination model to analyst the urban-rural coordination relationshiop and evolvment rule from 1990 to 2010,then compared the two urban agglomerations.finally,put forward the urban agglomerations development in furture.The main research results are as follows:1.Use TM remote sensing data,with GIS method,extract the construction land,and the urban-rural boundary in different time;use DMSP/OLS night light,extract night light index,By analyzing the correlation between different night light indicators and the population and economic indicators,we found that the night light index has significant linear relationship with population density and per capita GDP,so we use night light index simulate different times’ population density and per capita GDP,and the simulation precision are above 78% and 70%.2.Use the results,we analyzed the the development and the urban-rural coordination relationship in two urban agglomerations.we found these results:(1)Beijing-tianjin-hebei uran agglomerations developed fastly,and the level between important cities and other cities has great difference,urban-rural coordination relationship is poor.(2) Yangze rever delta uran agglomerations developed fastly,and the level between important cities and other cities are similar,urban-rural coordination relationship is fine.(3)the population coordination relationship is better than the economic aspect,and the nature aspect is the worst.3.Finally we give suggests to the Beijing-tianjin-hebei and Yanze river delta agglomerations’ development,(1)the Beijing-tianjin-hebei agglomeration need to readjust industrial structure,strengthen the cooperation of cities,and promote the development of urban and rural.(2)the Yangze river delta need to optimize the industrial space layout,promote joint development with other areas.
