Regional Economic Growth Difference And Influence Factors Analysis Of Henan Province

Since reform and opening-up, with the rapid economic growth, China’s gradually formed a number of regional economic growth. As the core area of the central region, the central plains economic zone has become the key development areas of regional development strategy. Henan province is the main central zone, central China as the backbone, on the southeast coast to undertake industrial transfer and has an important role. However, under the influence of the global economic slowdown, lack of market demand, industry overcapacity and other factors, the economic structural problems highlighted. The low level of economic development, irrational industrial structure, urbanization level is not high, technological innovation capability is not strong and other issues, has become an obstacle to economic development in Henan province of outstanding obstacles. At the same time, the impact of the natural environment, economic position, the historical basis of other factors, the economic core area of rapid development, the combined effect of significant, but the gap with the surrounding area continues to expand, to a certain extent, it restricts the coordinated regional development.This paper combines theoretical analysis and empirical analysis methods, based on system combing the regional economic development theory, 17 prefecture-level city in Henan province as the research object. for the study of spatial and temporal differences in the evolution of regional economic growth trends analysis, giving the theoretical explanation and using cross-sectional seemingly unrelated regression(Cross-section SUR) factors to regional differences in economic growth in the empirical test, and give suggestions to promote coordinated regional development.From the range, standard deviation, coefficient of variation trends and the weighting coefficient of variation can be seen, the absolute difference in regional economic growth in Henan province was growing trend, the relative difference was enlarged and then reduced.Decomposition results from the weighted coefficient of variation can be seen that the influence of the primary industry in Henan province regional differences in economic growth is the minimum, the influence of the second industry in Henan province is the largest, the impact of differences in economic growth of the tertiary industry role followed. But with the constant adjustment and optimization of industrial structure, the influence of the tertiary industry growth of economic disparities will increase, the influence of the secondary sector will decline.The results from the decomposition of the Theil coefficient can be seen, the impact of the central plains urban agglomeration trends in west and southwest regions of Henan internal differences in overall economic difference is much higher than in northern regions and the Yellow River Basin. Among them, the trend central plains urban agglomeration internal differences in the degree of impact on the overall variance is highest; trends affect the southwestern region in western Henan internal differences of population variability followed, and in recent years, the overall impact has been economic differences increase; trends in northern regions of the internal differences in the degree of impact on the overall difference increased, but only slightly; the lowest tendency Yellow River Basin internal differences in the degree of influence on the overall difference, and relatively stable.Geographic conditions, capital position, the industrial structure, foreign trade, institutional factors are important factors affecting the regional differences in economic growth. Henan province regional economic growth, investment in fixed assets, human capital, industrial structure and the impact of foreign trade is positive, driven by the degree of market impact negative obstacles. It is worth noticing: First, the regional Industrial structure of Henan province are the second industry-based, but a large proportion of secondary industry accounted regional differences, differences in sector structure is more obvious. Zhongyuan urban agglomeration effects are more obvious, the second and tertiary industries, the proportion equivalent to more rapid development of service industry; in northern economic zone to iron and steel, petroleum, mining and processing of heavy metals and other resource-based rapid development of heavy chemical industry; economic zone in west southwest of Henan light industry is developing rapidly; high agricultural product processing industry Huanghuai economic area proportion. Second, Henan province, a small number of colleges and universities, the level is not high, lack of research and development institutions, mainly in the economic development of better Zhengzhou and Luoyang, the human capital in backward regions is relatively weak, human capital plays a smaller role in promoting effect. Third, the process of economic development in Henan province, the degree of government guidance and market significantly higher, excessive administrative intervention to some extent hindered the rational allocation of resources, and thus produce a negative impact on regional economic growth.In the global economic slowdown, lack of market demand, overcapacity in the industry under the macro background, Henan province should promote coordinated regional development perspective, to play the economic spillover effects of the economic core area, efforts to play the role of competitive industries, and gradually form a rational division of labor regional markets and orderly development of the industrial structure model, strengthen human capital and improve market-oriented, thus boosting the economy is relatively backward areas.
