Under the background of knowledge economy, with the increasingly fierce market competition, technological progress and innovation has become the driving force for sustainable development of the organization. For today’s enterprises, regardless of how many factors affecting innovation, as the innovation subject who will become the first resource. Therefore, companies should pay attention to employees’ innovative behavior to enhance their innovation potential now. High-performance work systems as the positive organizational elements is very good to improve organizational and individual performance. These years, academic research at home and abroad have begun to explore effective measures to build a high performance work system to further enhance individual innovation performance. But most of the past empirical research give more attention to the effects of high performance work systems on organizational performance than the relationship between high performance work systems and individual innovation performance, but for the impact of high performance work system on individual innovation performance is even less,which concern the possible agency and moderating effect.This thesis is to explore that “Under the Chinese cultural background, the organization create a good working environment by building high-performance work systems so that it can stimulate the work of employee engagement(energy, dedication, focus) to further enhance employees’ innovation performance. And making the self-efficacy as a moderator to discuss its regulatory effect between high performance work systems and work invested”.Reviewed the relevant research about high-performance work systems, self-efficacy, job involvement and individual innovation performance, exploring the relationship between these four variables for constructing a hypothetical model of this paper. Then using questionnaires to collect data for the basis of statistical analysis. SPSS statistical software conducts correlation analysis, regression analysis on the collected data. Finally, this study verify theoretical model. Study the following conclusions: HPWS significanty positive influence individual innovation performance, job involvement and vigor, dedication, focus; Job involvement and vigor, dedication, focus significantly positive impact on individual innovation performance; Job involvement and vigor, dedication, and focus on each dimension plays part intermediary role between high-performance work systems and individual innovation performance; the interaction term of high-performance work systems and self-efficacy was significantly influence job involvement. Self-efficacy can play a regulatory role between high-performance work systems and job involvement.By studying this paper, enterprises should focus on building the high-performance work systems in the future. According to the theoretical basis of the research results, the enterprises should build high-performance work systems with the own characteristics, enabling enterprises to sustain innovation in the competitive market environment.
