| Abstract:With better educated and globalization deepening, innovation has become one of the important determinants of a national or regional economic development.18 the fifth plenary session proposed the 13th Five-year Development Plan for National Economic and Social Development which put forward comprehensive innovation development philosophy including theoretical innovation, system innovation, technological innovation, cultural innovation. It emphasized innovation is the first motive force for economic development. How to correctly and objectively reveal and evaluate the regional innovation development level has extremely important significance to make scientific and rational development of regional innovation policy.On the basis of innovation development theory and the present situation, this paper use the method of theory analysis, frequency analysis and expert consultation to form innovation evaluation index system including the theory innovation, system innovation, technological innovation and cultural innovation according to the principle of evaluation index system and make China’s 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions as evaluation objects to analyze the characteristics of each region innovation development level. At last, we concluded that:(1)Innovation development unbalance in the spatial distribution is significant, and innovation development level in eastern region is higher, innovation development in the central and western region innovation development level is mostly low;(2) Theory innovation, system innovation,technological innovation, cultural innovation and the innovation of the overall development level of distribution is relatively close, also presents decreasing from the east to the west;(3) Spatial correlation of innovation development in our country is growing, the innovation development level on the space show two important distribution of spatial agglomeration phenomenon, namely H-H cluster in eastern regions and L-L clusters in western regions;(4) China’s innovation development differentiation distribution pattern mixed and it makes partial provinces and cities grow quickly; But it has also widened the gap of the eastern and western region and influenced the regional coordinated development; (5) Innovation development level and comprehensive economic and social development correlation between factor is very high with interactive symbiosis mechanism. We put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions, so as to coordinate Chinese regional innovation development. |
