Study Of Sustainable Development Of Ecotourism Of The East Dongting Lake

As the most productive ecosystem in nature, not only does the wetland has abundant biodiversity resources, water resources, land resources, but also has great ecological and economical benefits. The wetland is playing an important role in defending the flood and drought, in siltation and making of mud, in adjusting the atmosphere, in degrading the environmental pollution, and also in maintaining the balance of ecology. The unique natural and cultural landscapes of wetlands offer favorable conditions for wetland tourism. With the increasingly prominent economic development, environmental pollution problems are becoming much more important, people has aware enough of the protection and utilization of wetland natural resources,and ecological functions of wetland, protection and development of wetland resources have became the general concerns of the international community and one of hot topics in today’s resource development. On the other hand, the rapidly growing of ecotourism provides extending space for the development of wetland tourism.Hunan East Dongting Lake is one of the National nature reserves, which is also the largest in area and the most fully functional inland wetland in Asia. With the rising of wetland ecotourism, however, they have being suffering the threat of environmental destruction, reduced resources. Consequently, it is particularly important to develop the abundant resources of Dongting Lake scientifically in order to achieve its sustainable development.The research consists of the introduction, background analyses, detailed analyses and conclusion. First of all, the introduction describes the research content, purpose and meaning, the research situation and methods of domestic and foreign, etc. What is more, the background material research, analyzes the basic situation of East Dongting Lake, including the development situation of natural environment, tourism resources and ecological tourism, and the main problemsand difficulties. The third part provides detailed analyses about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the ecotourism of the East Dongtiong Lake, The forth part, as the core of the thesis, puts forward the developmental targets, ideas, strategies and suggestions of the ecotourism of the Hunan East Dongting Lake. Aim at guiding the East Dongting Lake as the national demonstration project point about wetland restoration and reconstruction and sustainable wetland resources, and at developing as ecological environmental education and conservation education base and the leader of ecotourism of Yueyang province. The general idea is that focusing on maintaining ecological balance, at the same time, protecting the wetland ecological environment effectively under the premise of scientific development. In order to develop unique ecotourism projects of Hunan, it is a good way by making full use of the tourism resources of the East Dongting Lake. The development of projects is a driving force to drive the development of the ecotourism of the East Dongting Lake. This is an effective way to achieve the sustainable use of resources, but also the necessary measures to build the tourist province of Hunan.
