| New urbanization is proposed as a new development pattern of China’s economic restructuring and developing process in the new period. It is a discard and fundamental transcendence of urbanization. Traditional Urbanization no longer fit our current economic development, promoting the construction of new urbanization is the only way to health economic development. Industry support and a solid foundation for the construction of the fundamental driving force of the new urbanization, promoting new urbanization building must be industrial development as the foundation and support, there is no industry support urbanization must be hollow, not sustainable.In recent years, the level of urbanization in Shanxi Province is continuous improvement. The urbanization construction has made some achievements, but there are still a series of prominent contradictions and problems, the development of existing industries urbanization did not provide effective support. Therefore, the question of industry support the development of the new town in Shanxi Province-depth research, to promote the healthy development of the new town construction of Shanxi, Shanxi realization of economic and social restructuring and development has important practical significance.In this paper, on the basis of reviewing relevant research results, based on an analysis of the new urbanization connotation, the connotations of the new urbanization is divided into two aspects of speed and quality, the new urbanization rate of urbanization that is used to measure the rate of urbanization; while new urbanization quality mainly include economic development, quality of life, infrastructure and public services, urban and rural environment and five. Then, based on the industrial structure, industrial layout, industrial growth theory, in-depth analysis of industry support mechanism for new urbanization speed and quality. Theoretical basis of the above analysis, this paper five dimensions new urbanization connotation quality evaluation index system in Shanxi Province new urbanization development quality, the use of entropy method in Shanxi Province and around the city from 2004 to 2013, the new urbanization quality was evaluated and gray correlation analysis from the perspective of empirical research of industrial structure in Shanxi Province three industries 19 industry segments for the new urbanization effect the speed and quality of support, and in-depth analysis of the empirical results. Related conclusions are as follows:First, around the city of Shanxi Province new urbanization quality fluctuate slightly but showed an upward trend in general around the city to improve the quality of new urbanization rate differences, the study years, most cities average annual increase of the quality of the new urbanization 5% or more, higher than the growth rate of the province has Lvliang, Xinzhou Shuozhou Jinzhong, Datong, Taiyuan and Changzhi seven cities, including Luliang average annual growth rate, amounting to 8.7%, while the lowest growth rate in Linfen, 4.3%. New urbanization around the city quite different quality local Shanxi Jinnan, West Shanxi, Shanxi Province and southeastern regions are significantly behind the central region.Second, the level of urbanization in various industries in Shanxi Province and promote new urbanization are large difference between the quality of different aspects of the same industry, the quality of the new town also has a different role in promoting the different sectors to promote the quality of the new urbanization evaluation of the effect depends on the size of the associated new urbanization connotation of quality in all aspects of the different sectors to promote the role of the new urbanization speed and quality differences.
