The Research On Influence Of "Mega Events" To The Development Of International Tourism Between China And Russia

In the background of economic globalization, the relationship between China and Russia has attracted the worldwide attention and the Sino-Russian tourism industry is able to demonstrate a positive relationship between the two countries. International tourism is a highly reflection of the political behaviors, any critical incident, either positively or negatively between the two countries will have a huge impact on the bilateral tourism, yet the booming development of tourism industry to the certain extent will promote the bilateral cultural exchanges and integration, advance the friendly relations between people of two countries, Sino-Russian friendship and improvement in the relationship between the two countries. In the past 30 years, the rapid development of the China’s economy has brought some enormous economic benefits to the tourism industry. Meanwhile, tremendous changes have taken place in China and Russia’s outbound and inbound tourism. Russia’s natural resources, a long history and profound cultural heritage have a great attraction for the Chinese tourists. China and Russia’s has a very good foundation to develop tourism cooperation, not only because both are major countries in tourism resources, but also because both are neighboring countries. Even though tourism cooperation between two countries has started late, but still have achieved very great development. In recent years, the Russian financial crisis has brought a great impact on the tourism industry, the number of outbound and inbound tourists have been dramatically changed. As Sino-Russian cooperation in an international community is getting more and more mutual understanding, cross cultural tourism between people of two countries is also increasing, also under favorable conditions, exchanges in various fields are taken place more frequently.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter of "Mega events" analysis include the research background, purpose and significance of the research, summarize the present research state and commentary, also focusing on the "Mega events" redefinition and classification.The second chapter is mainly on the "Mega events" in China and Russia on the development of international tourism, based on a brief overview of the present situation of Sino-Russian international tourism development, from the political and economic points of view to analyze the foundation of the development of international tourism between China and Russia.The third chapter is about the "Mega events" data combing, classify and analysis which have taken place in the past ten years between two countries, as well as analysis of its effects on China and Russia’s international tourism.The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of "Mega events", and suggests the measures for positive and negative effects of "Mega events", in order to find a suitable development model, enlarge the "Mega events" beneficial effects, to evade the negative impact of "Mega events" on China and Russia’s international tourism industry.
