As a basic public service, food safety regulation needs to be held to a certain standard as it affects the health and safety of everyone. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region experiences harsh natural climates and comparatively lower levels of economic growth. Also, due to religious and cultural factors, food safety regulators are presented with certain challenges. Although the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Food Safety Control department has achieved progress in recent years, overall progress is lacking compared to other more developed regions in the country. This reflects poorly on the fairness and equality that should be present in all public services nation-wide, and also is not representative of the legal rights that should be expected of minority groups, affecting the stability and social harmony of ethnic minority groups in more remote regions. How the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Food Safety Control department can cater specifically to ethnic minority autonomous region is the starting point of this article.In this paper, we clarify the basics of public services, and food safety regulation-related concepts. Market failure, government regulations, new theories on public services and others are also taken into consideration. On the bases of summarizing the current status of food safety supervision Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, research methods such as literary research, case studies are used to analyze and break down the problems associated with food safety in InnerMongolia Autonomous Region. The problems include regulatory narrow coverage, regulatory backward, supervision small punishment, regulators pertinence. Various angles are used to provide an in-depth analysis of the source of problems causing food safety violations, personnel cannot meet the regulatory needs, the regulatory system is not perfect, supervision and accountability system is not perfect, the region features a significant ethnic frontier. In order to provide reference for improving food safety control in Inner Mongolia, with an emphasis on personnel, supervision, accountability and channels; resulting in recommendations on policies to effectively improve food safety control in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
