With the rapid development of our society, urbanization with Chinese characteristics began taking shape gradually, and increasingly prosperous, so that the development model of urbanization as a new and unique subject areas. However, the current study for China's urbanization has not yet formed a systematic pattern, so to further sum up the experience of urbanization and innovation models. Understanding the concept of urbanization has a variety of development areas, namely, urbanization, urbanization in pastoral areas, small towns, etc.This situation not only has brought infinite developing space for the future of central regions of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, but also promote the urbanization process indirectly. In the following thesis, taking an example of Urad Middle Banner Inner Mongolia, the writer tries to explore the support industries and development patterns of urbanization in this region while they satisfy urbanization development by utilizing the natural resources to develop second and third industries. The urbanization could be effectively promoted by those support industries and development patterns such as livestock industrialization, tourism industry development and enhancement of industrialization level. From the perspective of "push-pull theory", the writer states that the implementation of Ecological Migration Program in the urbanization process of pastoral area is formed by the transformation of local population in the two regions which is influenced by "push" and "pull" factors. Ecological Migration Program is one of the initiatives for accelerating the urbanization process. Although its ultimate aim is to protect the ecology and promote the development, Ecological Migration Community also promotes local urbanization construction. And besides, when analyzing the industrialization in pastoral region, by using Structure Functionalism Theoty, the writer analyzes the fact that urbanization development is an entirety of the subsystems such as economy, culture, environment and institutions. Only the maintaining of these subsystems could realize the urbanization and consequently embody the localization of pasteral areas.
