The Study On The Choosing Of Leading Industry About Agricultural Products Processing Industry In Anhui Province

In some extent, the processing of modern economic development is regarded as the processing of the changing of leading industry departments. It is the orderly changing of leading industry departments that developed the upgrading of industry organization and economic development. The leading industry plays a key role in the production relationship chain, and keeps tight economic relationship with the other departments directly or indirectly. As its development is with the virtue of continuity, it can drive the shaping and developing of a large amount industry. Thus, its existing and developing is closely related with the overall development of the national economy, it is the core and pillar of the national economy.Therefore, choosing suitable leading industry has great influence to develop economy.Located in the central of the plain, Anhui province is one of the biggest agricultural provinces, with rich and abundant agricultural species and distinct advantage in agricultural industry, it enjoys unique conditions and advantages in developing agricultural processing industry. As the sunrise industry, agricultural products serve as a link between agriculture and industry, one hand connected with farm, the other right up to the market, and it is also the important breakthrough point to solve the "Three Rural Issues". However, the value-adding capacity of agricultural processing industry in Anhui is comparatively weak, dose not play its role in improving economic growth. That is because Anhui province does not clearly point out agricultural processing industry as the leading industry, does not set the definite direction, does not tap the development potential, as well as does not realize the specific dislocation development. So, researching agricultural processing industry in Anhui province by leading industry theory under which backgrounds is with practical significance in improving economic development of Anhui province, increasing farmers’ income, promoting the industrialization of agriculture, promoting industrial structure adjustment of agricultural processing industry.First of all, the thesis reviews the research situation both at home and abroad, and generally introduces the concept definitions of leading industry and agricultural processing industry, laying the theory foundation for the thesis. Then, analyses the developing situation and variation trend of agricultural processing industry and inner industry of Anhui province in detail, analyzing the existing problems of agricultural processing industry in Anhui province by comparing with other provinces. Thirdly, by applying the related theory of selection of dominant industry, the thesis builds indicator system for the choice, collects related data and makes empirically analysis by entropy method. Through synthesis score, the thesis finds that the Anhui province should attach great importance in developing agricultural food processing, rubber producing and furniture manufacturing, furthermore, analyses the existing problems in development processing. Finally, the thesis proposes some advice in improving the development of agricultural processing industry as leading industry in Anhui province from the perspective of government, talents, technology, quality and sustainable development.
