Research On The Effect Of Financial Development On The Growth Of Export Trade

After the financial crisis, the effect of economic policy in developed countries is not that ideal and the protection of trade is increasing, so paying attention to the new changes of Beijing’s export trade growth is very important, especially the relationship between its new trend and financial development. From the perspective of regional economy, we begin our study about Beijing’s financial development’s impact on the intensive margin and extensive margin of its export growth; then based on the results, we further research the effect of financial development in Beijing on the structure of its export trade. The empirical results show that:The expansion of scale, the optimization of structure and the improvement of efficiency of Beijing’s financial development have an effect on the intensive margin of its export growth, but this effect is not that obvious; the expansion of scale of Beijing’s financial development had a significant effect on the extensive margin of its export growth, that is to say, the scale of financial development is bigger, the export expansion of extensive margin is greater; however, the effect of the structure and efficiency of financial development on its export extensive margin is not obvious; what’s more, the effect of the expansion of scale, the optimization of structure and the improvement of efficiency of Beijing’s financial development on the structure of its export trade is not significant. Our final goal is that based on the empirical analysis of above two tests, we’d like to find out the specific policies to accelerate the transformation of Beijing’s export growth model.
