Improvement Research Of Information Assets Appraise By Cost Approach Which Based On Security Attributes

With information technology and economic development, the concept of information assets has been generally accepted for the community. As an important part of corporate assets, information assets play an increasingly important role in enterprise production and management, information assets appraisal has become an important part of assets appraisal.Firstly, the paper puts forward the concept and asset category of information asset, and analyses the research status about information assets appraisal, pointing out the existing problems. Then reviews information assets’ basic approaches and the relative value assess, and security attributes impact on the value of information assets, which should be considered on assets appraisal. Considered the impact of security attributes on information assets, use fuzzy evaluation method to quantify, adjust the initial evaluation value which calculated by the cost approach, and then use the improved cost approach to evaluate the information asset in the case. At the last in this paper, summarize the work done and the insufficient existed. Based on the cost approach of information assets appraisal, adopt fuzzy evaluation method to quantify the impact of information security attribute to the information assets value, to improve the cost approach.
